JOB PURPOSE
You will be responsible for managing the platform development roadmap and enhancements to clients’ mobile and web-based projects and platforms.
Ensuring a high level of service availability and deliverability, you will need to produce, optimise and maintain platform modules, while adding new features and user interfaces. You will also be required to enable third party services on CRM and social media platforms.

KEY SKILLS:
• PHP with at least 2 years’ experience
• Knowledge and experience of using Joomla, WordPress, CodeIgniter, Laravel or other popular frameworks
• Advanced knowledge of web development
• Proven expertise in software architecture
• Advanced knowledge of design patterns and strong knowledge of object-oriented designs and principles

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Briefing and managing external developer resources to create new product features
• Providing excellent code and enhancing a variety of projects
• Scoping and documenting complex technical requirements via wireframes, database maps
• Optimising platform databases
• Ensuring platform uptime and SLA targets
• Supporting, mentoring and managing staff to ensure they are updated on projects and technologies

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of other popular CMSs (Joomla, WordPress, Magento, Drupal) and frameworks (Symfony, CodeIgniter, Zend) is advantageous
• Frontent skills (Javascript frameworks)
• Knowledge of other wider technologies such as Java and .NET
• Experience of working with agile methodologies
