Business Systems Analyst

Project Description:
You will have the opportunity to work together with some of the world’s largest companies in banking, finance, insurance, digital media and other professional services sectors. You will be involved in a project where Scrum methodology is more than just a “trend”. The project manages aspects of how the financial products behave in different scenarios and it is being built based on dynamic algorithms and complex business rules.

Job Description
Assessing business requirements and producing the appropriate technical specifications.
Work closely with the Business customer towards defining and clarifying the business requirements.
Work together with technical development team in order to find the proper solution for answering to the business requirements.
Support the customer and the testing team in defining the testing strategy and acceptance criteria.
Lead or offer support in presales activities.

Mandatory Skills:
Very good understanding of the entire Software Development Lifecycle
Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills both oral and written.
Experience in working directly with customers and development teams.
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
5+ years of experience in software development.
2+ years of experience in analysing requirements and producing of the technical specifications.
Very good analytical and synthesis skills.
Good knowledge of business analysis practices, techniques, and development methodologies.
Excellent knowledge of SDLC and all the associated artefacts for both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Desirable Skills:
Experience in one of business areas: banking, finance, media, communications
Familiar with Agile delivery methodology and with the role of BA in the project
Familiar with products/solutions of major software vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, etc.)
Experience in presales activities and customer relationships.
