Job Description
Senior Modeler is responsible for overseeing a team of 7 modelers and/or 7 Texture Artist , ensuring work is created to the highest quality and standards requested. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability to plan the work for the team effectively in order to meet the deadlines. Successful candidates are professionals that have proven experience in modeling, texturing and shading, however candidates will be considered if they demonstrate themselves to be exceptional in only one area, as long as they are willing to learn.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective running of the Modelling department
• Organize and attend dailies and participate in creative problem solving within the team
• Plan work within the team on a weekly basis and collaborate with Production Mg in order to meet deadlines
• Take decisions and give direction within the team
• Maintain or exceed a consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high quality work.
• Generate accurate 3D models of characters and objects for the production
• Work closely with the Concept Art and Rig team leaders

Skills:
• Solid Knowledge and production experience in one or several of the 3d software (Maya, 3d Max, Zbrush or other similar packages)
• 3+ years’ experience in 3D modelling
• Experience with procedural generation of environments
• A commitment to collaboration within the team and with other departments
• Proactive and excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
• Creative problem solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Reliable, with good time keeping and the ability to meet set deadlines
• English language is an advantage
