Job Responsibilities
1. To support Radio network planning & Optimization projects of GSM / CDMA2000+EVDO / UMTS+HSPA / WiMAX / LTE
2. To provide: Radio Coverage & Capacity Dimensioning, RF Planning and Optimization, E2E optimization (KPIs), performance monitoring, Site engineering, Network audit, etc.
3. To support performance KPI negotiating with operators before or during project implementation.
4. To take part in the Preliminary or final radio performance acceptance procedure for worldwide project.
5. To communicate with the high level customer, Project Manager, RF Manager, CTO, CEO.
6. As technical point of contact, e.g. engineering team, customer, and vendor,to provide training to employees and customers.
7. To write guidelines for radio network planning & optimization projects.
8. Assist PM with RF team organization setup, resource planning and tasks allocation; to setup RF work processes and supervise project RF part, ensure the network performance complies with contract.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree qualification or above majoring in Telecommunication / IT / Computer Science / Engineering / or other related technical discipline.
2. Preferably with 2 years or above relevant working experience. Experience in RF planning & optimization engineering is preferred.
3. Possess skill in any of the following area:
(1) Familiar/excellent in the fundamentals of GSM, CDMA2000+EVDO, UMTS+HSPA , WiMAX, LTE systems.
(2) Familiar with excellent in multi vendors’ wireless equipment operation and wireless network optimization.
(3) Tools experience for RF planning, propagation models, RF optimization, protocol analysis, etc.
4. Able to work in fast pace working environment. Strong adaptability in different countries, cultures and independent on problem solutions in different environment.
5. Customer service oriented and good presentation skill. Have excellent team spirit with good communications and interpersonal skills.
6. Good English listening, speaking, reading and writing capability, fluent English speakers preferred.
7. Frequent business trips or being accredited overseas will be required, around 80% of business travel per year.
8. Romania passport or citizen-ship is preferred because contract will be signed with Romania Huawei.
