For our development center in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, we are looking for a Java Tech Lead / Architect to join our growing team.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Work with project manager to create estimates and release plans.
- Accurately report technical issues and the overall project development status to project manager.
- Analyze and estimate requirements.
- Design solutions that reduce technical complexity while maximizing business and user benefits.
- Clearly communicate designs and technical requirements with team members.
- Enforce the usage of best practices in design and implementation.
- Mentor the development team members and support their professional growth.
- Assist developers in daily tasks.
- Review solutions proposed by developers and provide feed-back.
- Collaborate with the testing team in order to assure top quality products.
- Investigate and keep up to date with the latest technologies.

Your skills in the following areas will be greatly appreciated:
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced business level English skills
- 5+ years software development experience
- 3+ years of relevant work experience with Java/JEE applications
- Experience leading and mentoring development teams
- Exposure to Agile methodologies is a plus
- Strong analysis and design skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns as well as relational databases for implementing database-driven, web-based applications.
- Aptitude and appetite for learning new technologies
- Collaboration and delegating skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working closely with clients;
- Willing to travel to customer locations for short periods of time.
